BaBylissPRO Styling Tool Temperature Guide
Use the guide below as a starting reference for choosing a heat setting. Always follow your specific BaBylissPRO toolβs instructions and consider your hairβs condition.
| Heat level | Temperature | Hair type |
|---|---|---|
| Low | 285Β°F / β141Β°C | Fine hair |
| Lowβmedium | 320Β°F / 160Β°C | Thin hair |
| Medium | 355Β°F / β179Β°C | Textured hair |
| High | 395Β°F / β202Β°C | Curly hair |
| Highest listed | 430Β°F / β221Β°C | Coarse or thick hair |
Start with the lowest effective temperature and test a small section first. Hair type alone does not determine heat tolerance, especially for damaged, bleached or chemically treated hair. Higher heat is not automatically necessary.
Use heat protectant as directed. For conventional flat irons and curling irons, style fully dry hair unless your toolβs instructions explicitly permit otherwise. Settings vary by model; this chart does not replace the manufacturerβs manual.
